Bright Colours | Giftwrap Delights and Crafty Inspiration from Karen Marie Dehn

I had some trouble figuring out what to call this post! At first I ended up on Karen Marie Dehns blog in the gift wrapping section so I was very excited... and then I found all the lovely paper crafts and home details! So its just a beautiful mash up of colours for today ^_^

I love this hexagonal patchwork wrapping paper! I have seen some on ebay from korean stationery sites and I have patchwork paper in a gift roll that I got from paperchase yeeeears ago but its in squares an rectangles. Ive never wrapped a gift with it haha just a shoebox where I keep my coppers!

A beautiful bunch of flowers. I love all the colours. What are those little berry things? Anyone know? I love the neon tray. Adds fabulous detail to the photo.

DIY cards with crazy paper. Awesome! Have you guys got any amazingly beautiful paper shops that could ship to the uk?! :p

Pretty ribbons!! I think those velvet ribbons are house doctor but Im not sure. I also think I can spy some Rie Elise Larsen birdy gift tags - maybe. Im not 100% certain.

I love pretty paper. That pink paper looks like some of the purple washi tape I own. Im not sure if its MT paper or what it is. I'm wondering what it would look like if I used rubber stamps on plain paper..... has anyone tried this?

oOOoooo! Colourful bells! Whaaat!!!!!! I have silver jingle bells that I kept out of my christmas packing up boxes cuz I want to make a mini book of our new monster kittens and I thought the bells would be a cute addition. They haven't any collars at the minute and I think il get them chipped as soon as I can get them done. I digress.. pretty colours ^_^

Look a the ribbons!!!!! I don't have a massive collection of ribbons... I don't really know what to use them for to be honest. It seems a waste to give them away.. non? And waxed cord is also very pretty. i have a mini collection of multi coloured bakers twines for scrapbooking but I should take a look at more ribbons I think!

My Notebook Art Journal | For Crafty Plans and Dastardly Schemes

There are no dastardly schemes..that was a lie. There are.. crafty plans, my blog planner and my to shoot list. At the start of this year I realised I had so many notebooks that were empty. I got this notebook in 2010 for my birthday and started using it that christmas.. so I had my christmas craft plans, and did the same is 2011 and used all of about 20 pages. So I decided that this year... I would utilise it and fill it!

This is the old boring plans for what I was going to make :p

My 2010 binder cover.. I had made plans... but rarely used the book after christmas. Infact I didn't use it at all really. Shame on me indeed.

And now this is my 2012 version! Can you believe the evening after I made this.. I lost my bag of stickers! Couldn't believe it. I loved those stickers!

My blog planner cover page. I initially decided to use the front for craft plans and the back for blog plans.. which I do with a lot of notebooks.. go from the front and the back and then hope to meet in the middle. But then I realised I needed another section for taking photos lists... So I divided the bits with washi tapes.

My craft plans... I have made the correspondence ledger! Its not that pretty. Its in a pip studio A4 exercise book. I can show you it but its not exactly artistic or anything! That January thing in the corner is from a Jessica Swift 2011 Goals and Planner printable available on her etsy store.

An idea for a big post! I have lots of notebooks :p

My shoot list!

More planning and ideas ^_^

Inspired very much by Ke_cupcakes drawing books on flickr. She's very inspiring.. just for adding borders and making things look interesting.

Workspace Tour | Designer and Collector Extraordinaire | Lisa Congdon

Who doesn't love a good nosey poke around someones work space? It's always terribly inspiring to have a nosey around someone else's little haven! Although I couldn't work somewhere like this.. too many things for me distract myself with by looking at haha. Im easily distracted and an excellent procrastinator ^_^ I could be professional.

I love the painting in the background. This photograph makes the studio look like the best arty class room ever!

I love seeing desk space like this. Makes me wish I had a bigger studio to potter about in instead of a little pokey room with a sofa bed and a picnic table! And of course my giant expedit ^_^ eugh.. remembered about the clear out coming up. Although I will try to put a positive spin on it... I need to clear the things out and rearrange my supplies to prepare for spring time scrapbooking and journalling ^_^

So many little nooks and crannies for creativity!

I love Lisas work ^_^

Some of you may know Lisas work through Uppercase and her 'Collection a Day' book. I couldn't deal with all this stuff!

Stamps and pretty little things are cute but I couldn't deal with multiples of things I don't use or have little intention of using! Lisa is such an inspiration though and I love the way all the images are arranged pretty perfectly.

Kawaii Stationery Porn Craft Room Sneak Peek | Walk On The Wild Side | Mail Art and Cuteness in Abundance

I only discovered Beebee at the end of december and I fell in love with the lady instantly and purchased the two zines she has for sale! A preview of the second zine is at the end of this very post. I can't wait to receive it!

Beebee is an excellent little crafter and is fabulous with her mail art! I wish she would share more of her art journalling though. Thats what Im dying to see.

Ive been very naughty and bought myself a House Doctor wire mail box - you know the one I've constantly been blogging about for like two years?! lol Thats going to be my mail box for lovely things.

I love the random washi tape on everything and stickers galore! This is my kinda lady. I also love the simple and insanely accurate arrangement of the objects in this image.

oOooo This is the workshop zine i bought! Well, one of them. I am so freakin excited, I can't wait to get them. Adding to my ever increasing collection of gift wrapping and kawaii craft books! I bought both the Zines in Beebees shop but if you guys only want to buy one of the books I would go for workshop 2. Its a bit better produced but the first is still excellent for a homemade type Zine for a series! I love them ^_^

Full of tutorials for gorgeous items. I must actually check now to see how easily obtained MT Wrap is in the UK! My second MT zine I've purchased. I haven't yet bought any of the books yet but I must get in touch with megumi again. Or keep them all on a pinterest wish list!

I love these kinds of images. And I would also love to know what Beebee uses that spiral bound notebook for!

Im not sure which zine this one is from but Im still pretty stoked.

This was a tutorial for an envelope I think on her blog. Some sort of masking tape tutorial!

Stamps and punches and pens oh my!!!

I can't wait to go and attack Beryl (my typewriter) ! ooh! I could use a mini notebook for ideas of what I want to write on Beryl - For craft projects and things. Actually.. I could probably use a page in my "work planner" as I am now calling it. I will share it with you soon ^_^

Go have a gander!

Designer Loves and Product Lusting! Fiona Hewitt of Design Dumpling and Miso Pretty!

Im sure a good few of you will already be familiar with *if not already huge fans of* Fiona Hewitt. The wonderful designer of brands such as Wu&Wu, Dumpling Dynasty and Miso Pretty for another company. I LOVE her designs. I have a few Wu&Wu items, I buy when I see and when I can afford!

I found these illustrations on Fionas website as there are lots of the illustrations I hadn't seen before, just whatever was in the shops at the particular time of the Miso Pretty Brand.

Haha I love it!

A range of perpetual calendars has been released this year and I think they're fabulous!

Dumpling dynasty had a range of tins a while back and I had the romantic notion of collecting them all but I only ever got the baking tin lol that arrived slightly sqooshed in the mail.

I just adore all of the illustrations. Completely!

A preview of products and a little pic of fiona in the corner!

This is the baking kit I have! Sqooshed but loved all the same

I really want one of these kitty pillows from the new range ^_^
