Heylo my lovelies... been a stumblin!! Its a money box... the cat.. I abso-flippin-lutely want it! Just a quick update as im perusing the internet!! My only problem with this item is that it comes from Urban outfitters. I'll get over it... i guess. I just wannit!! This is going to turn into my having a crazy collection of money boxes, i seem to get a new one every christmas or birthday.. lol.. I have a silver box that says 'shoe collection', i then got a ceramic handbag money box, i have a micky mouse money box, i then got a toadstool money box and then a ceramic shoe money box... all of these items were gifts so i have inadvertantly begun a collection! Maybe I should make them live together and start taking photos lol. Currently theyre spread about my house and my parents house. Double the savings is what you might think.. but not quite... I steal my parents coppers! (Disclaimer - they are aware of my small moneys thievery!)

The image above is just a shot of the inspiration wire/decoration that hangs in our living room and two new necklaces i got from ebay which were hanging up there so they didnt get all tangled. I really need to get some sort of necklace holder organised! I absolutely love the necklaces.

This is my lovely new coat! Thrifed - £11 not too shabby!! Fully equipped with my Freckled Nest badge i got as a wee freebie when i purchased a camera strap.. i will get round to taking a picture of it.. but the weather here is really terrible and the lighting is not quite right. I love it though... this diptych can be added to my wardrobery fashion set on Flickr also! Still making the effort :)

These flowers are just some Dahlias that sit on the dining room/craft room table! Still feeling fairly consistent with my vintage wash and making the diptychs so woo! At least I'm motivated to get them done! I think i could also add them to that 365 project i attempted and failed miserably at, at the start of the year. It takes so much dedication! These will also be blogged on my photo blog and i also have to start making christmas presents. Today I must buy an embroidery hoop.... or il be really cross at myself. Also need to sort out my threads... Thats all for now folks!

These arent part of the same series.. I think the one without feet.. is going to be part of a couple series... In my head it will be produced eventually lol. The top one is called 'Where he belongs'.

This image (below) is actually a scan of a 6x4 photograph.. i took this photo over a year ago on a wee crappy fuji camera but i really like the effect. The scan gave it a ridiculous blue tone so I didnt really do much to achieve the vintage wash in photoshop. I just added a vignette and lightened it a little.

ve been attempting to take photos for Flickrs Wardrobe Remix pool... and make an effort with what I wear instead of just being comfy and boring all the time! Unfortunately for the pool u need to do head to toe images which isnt always easy when the tripod is nowhere to be found and working in a very small room.

This is the first diptych I created for the pool (above) and then I started doing some editing in photoshop attempting to get that more vintagey wash to my images. I also took a self portrait (below, again) and did some more editing!

I really like the way the vintage wash came out in the diptych for the wardrobe remix. i wont cross post it in the pool or anything il just keep it on my flickr and my blog. Hopefully keep it as a running theme when i start taking more photos! Been quite ill recently and nowhere interesting to dress up for :) or when i am dressed nice i either dont have a camera or time for photos.

This is the first self portrait ive done like this in aaaages, trusty mirrors. This is a tiny tripod and barely supports the weight of my camera! I think my big one is at my parents somewhere... bad times. I like how this wee portrait came out and you get to see how my room looks and all the crap i have on my mirror lol. The edit is below but Im not too sure which version i prefer.

For postcrossing. :) This one is heading to Finland! Woop it only took four days and the lovely lady who received it loved it and is going to send me one shes making herself. Good times for Claiiire! I think this one is my favourite out of the two. i need to work on my doodling
