Thanks mister postie for delivering the best flippin package ever!! Ok so, my american pen pal Ashley and myself organised a wee swap between us both to create art journals for each other - filled with crafted pages, illustrations - whatever you want... I received mine today.. it was the best thing to open. So much effort was put into it - it was amazing.. i was absolutely gobsmacked! After i sent a big email to say thank you we decided to set up another swap for christmas - just to make a stocking filled with craft goodies! So im looking forward to that. Getting back to my wonderful pictures of my journal! I totally loved the pink polka dot tissue paper that was around it!!

woo! So... after I received my dress that I'm going to wear at my friends wedding in February - i was trying to think what jewelery and shoes to wear.. i stumbled upon Vivienne Westwoods stuff and fell in love with it all. I got a complete bargain and was so excited when my new earrings arrived! I do think though that I will order a set of the Diamante Orb earrings and necklace to see if its slightly more understated!

wooo!!! This is what i got in the post todaaaay (19th). Im so excited - i ordered about 5 sets of film off different sites like ebay and 7day shop so hopefully that will be me prepared for christmas time and the party season!

These are the first sets of pics i took; ive just ordered 2 Shinzi Katoh Photo Albums for the Fuji Instax from ebay - im so excited about those arriving too!

Im constantly thinking about redecorating my living room - im making a lil journal full of colours and mood boards... I dont know if its because its almost christmas that i really want red everywhere..... ive found a few pictures that i absolutely love.. and shelves are a must! I also want a lot more frames and wall art in my house. The kitchen desperately needs done but thats for another post!

I really want this type of living room - unfortunately mirrors that size are expensive!! I will look...

Our living room sofa is also navy in colour - its really horrible but its a rented house and the sofa belongs to the landlord. I would really love to set it on fire and get it out of my house but i really dont think thats an option. I would also have to get new curtains, cuz the navy ones match the sofa... I did what i could with that room and I will post photos eventually.

I got this book off amazon, and honestly it is the most inspiring wee book ever! I would highly recommend it!! It actually got me into embroidery... looking through the projects I fell inlove with her kitchen which is displayed in the book - il try to scan it in and update it on this! I also love all the wee cushions, so im investing in some embroidery hoops and ordering some fat quarters of fabric!! Ive gone through this book and decided that buying fat quarters in pastels, patterns, and plains would be the easiest way to break it up by each colour and also be accessible for me to do any project I fancy - if that makes sense! I spent a small fortune but im really happy with the wee fabric pieces I got. I think im going to make a cushion for my mum - taken from the Tilda book - sort of! I will update with pictures at the end because stopping and shooting while im working is not an option! The lighting is terrible in my house and setting up the lights and sewing is just too much effort for me! I will definitely show the finished product!

I really love the patterns in this book and Im pretty certain i will be creating the little house cushion for my mum for christmas! Its so inspiring.
