Party Inspiration | A Girly Little Tea Party

Well it's drawing near! In less than two weeks I'll stop torturing you with these party posts because my birthday will be over :p nothing planned yet. Perhaps just some dinner.

and lots of tea! I love these cups and saucers. I need to get some more pastel crockery in my life!

I love this table setting! Are those rose candles?!?! I love the table runners to!

Chocolate on sticks! Definitely yes please!

Such beautiful layouts on the table! I love the roses in the little bowls. It would be a shame to remove the rose to use the bowl :p

DIY Cushion Inspiration | Home Sewing Plans

I cant remember allll of these sources so bear with me and please contact me if i miss one! I'm looking for some inspiration to make cushion covers for my living room. 6 to cover in total and part of my fabric destash ^_^

Ok, this first image came from the Fryd Design magazine available through issu.

This I thought (Angelshair on etsy), was a very cute Idea and definitely the colours I want (I really like pale and white as the living room now is so busy). I am also contemplating totally changing our living room and painting the walls white.. so I will need some colourful cushions. I have decisions to make ^_^

Crochet Cushion Baban on Etsy - I like this style. I might make this in white.

dedeetsyshop on Etsy. I could make something like this.. help me destash my felt hoard also!

The fabulous dottie angels cushions! I love it! The circular one. I might... I have lots of floral fabric and the cute little crochet motif is perfect.

I like Chevron... I like the grey and white lots.

i LOVE all of these! yes yes yes! By Jeanette Lunde

kreativ tommel puff I blogged about this last week! with a link to the pattern.

I dont know where this one is from but I LOVE it!!

The Home Centric on etsy. I dont know what this is made of, I need to find the link again!

Feeling suitably inspired to draw up some plans!

My Sketchbook Delight | Sketchbook No.1 2011

You may recall my recent dilema with choosing an art class ^_^ I went for sketchbook delight and I am very happy I did. I think I will take the watercolour class once Im done though. I've already filled a sketchbook.. well, finished one. It helped that the paper was so rubbish I could only do one page spreads! My second sketchbook is a proper watercolour sketchbook so it's a little sturdier. I thought I would show you my work from the beginning...

Starting with my Michael Nobbs 'Start to Draw your Life' work...

Random every day drawings from march time.

In the last image I went a bit Keri Smith on it and her explorer of the world, but my world is limited so thats my knee :p

and then i got the cold and lost my mojo for a while!

I really wanted to work with colour so i tried to paint a butterfly that I have.. a pink one. One of those feather jobs. Just using watercolour and a white gel pen.

I then tried to draw some fabric patterns but fluffed it up completely.. didn't go so well.

Then I was experimenting with different washes and paints that I had. Then I gave up pretty much until my Art Class dilema!

Test pages a gogo! Just trying out all the supplies I had and how they worked with the paper I was using. Turns out also that I don't like colouring pencils or crayons.

oOo and also!! Never waste your time buying white gel pens or paint markers... totally crap. The best thing is either Acrylic artists Ink and a nib/dip pen or tip ex pens.

Working on some homework ^_^ I highly recommend the class.

All Things Bright and Cherry | Inspiring Interiors

There's nothing that excites me more than beautifully decorated houses.. especially ones with pretty picket fences and bicycles!

I love that tablecloth... the patterns are gorgeous. Those bowls are now on my wishlist too ^_^

This rug is a beautiful set of colours and I adore that 'Joy' cushion! The yellow vases and blankets tie in perfectly with the rug and the tables are perfection!

I would like some elephant vases please!

and a giant elephant vase!!! I love the carpet and window seat cushion. The cover is gorgeous. The colours are absolutely beautiful. Married perfectly with the polka dots.

That crab lamp is crazy! I love the shape of the table and the cushion pattern. It's gorgeous. I want the bed frame. Love it loads.

I love black, white and pink.. when I see it, the black is mostly over powering but this is absolute perfection! Subtle.

This is one of my favourite kitchens ever! I love the ripley effect on the table top. It is very pretty ^_^ especially when it matches the ceiling.
