Crochet Inspiration Book | Japanese Cute Crochet

I have recently become obsessed with reading japanese crochet books! I say read... lol drool over pictures and then think..'i cant crochet from diagrams *sigh*'

I love this lace. It is gorgeous!

Id love to crochet cover buttons and I am so impressed by this packaging with flowers and crochet ribbon! I love it! I wish I could do it. If I made it though I probably wouldn't want to give it to anyone ^_^ Im so selfish lol

I would like some little baskets for my little yarn. They are too cute!

oO Flower curtain tie back and hankie edging! The hankie edging I could do... infact Im very tempted to go grab some fat quarters and turn them into little hankie type things. Not that they would ever be used... but again.. pretty!

Not that I want to crochet edging for any dressers but I love those mushroom storage jars! The cups are amazing and the coasters are cute as heck.

All of these were in diagram form so if you can crochet from diagrams you are set really. I should probably learn how to do that but it took me long enough to get sorted with reading.. and even when I read a pattern I have to say it out loud whilst crocheting lol...

"ok so.. YARN OVER... PULL LOOP...." its the only way I can do it and pick it up instantly :p My housemate thinks Im mental. ^_^

Before and After | Stool Make over with Cath Kidston Fabric and Paint

This is obviously the after image!! I got this stool in march - thats how long it has taken me to get it done! You see all my cutey cushions and ruffley sofa throw? Ruffley in a - sat on often kind of way ^_^

This is the stool before ^_^ My parents have a taller one at their house too but im not sure il be taking that on! I initially want to crochet a cover but when i had stitched the squares together it was too small. I was so cross with myself! I decided to cover it with fabric and I treated myself to a wood and wool stool ^_^ Im just waiting for it to arrive!

I adore flowers and white items! You all know this by now ^_^

You may have seen these images before with a white bedroom post i did recently! I love dreamy floaty pictures. I want a white floor.

I really want to know what that pillar thing is.. Ive seen a couple that turned out to be wardrobes! I was so excited. lol I love those floor cushions and the little butterfly. Id love to get some of those but theyre almost impossibly to find in the UK.

Those floor cushions are also a little bit fabulous. Although if i got onto a floor cushion i would never ever get out of it! I turned 25 and got extreme back pain and a dose of the grumps lol. Oh and! If you guys see soaps like that do you instantly want to pick it up and smell it?

How gorgeous is this styling? Would you ever think of filling a sink with rose petals for effect? No me neither. I love that slip. Do you guys wear those girly little camis? One.. they are not comfortable. Two.. If i go to sleep in one it will end up around my neck in the middle of the night and Three... the ones ive seen (Cheap ones) are usually a fire hazard! I can only wish to be so glamourous but I have to say that my dads baseball shirt he bought in the states in the 80s and a pair of shorts are comfy bedwear for me!

Work Space Inspiration | Swedish Style from Helt Enkelt

How beautiful is this space?! I've been stalking Norwegian and Swedish blogs for a while now and instantly fell in love with the Blog Helt Enkelt!

 

I adore this space. The silver and white tones everywhere and the black and white photographs are absolutely fabulous.

I love the amount of light! I want one of these desks. I really want a desk. I spy a lamp in the corner, I have the same one ^_^ does that mean Im incredibly stylish?! :p I really like the little pot the paint brushes are in. 

I really like this paper storage idea. Hanging from wires is very cute.. could also be interchangeable for different colour schemes.

Shop Focus | Tugba Kop Illustration

It's wonderful to find a talented illustrator and crafter! When I got an email asking me to take a look at some items I was dubious; as you would be. I was thrilled however to find some fabulous pieces and a very talented artisan!

I love the oyster card holders ^_^ especially the Tea Pot on the leather. 

This Get Well soon card is absolutely adorable! You can also get kits to create your own pin cushion! 

This is the little kit. I really like the little bag it comes in ^_^

 

I think Leather work is incredibly impressive and Im glad I discovered this little etsy shop! There are little brooches and key rings available in the shop too!

I always love it when I find fabulous interiors! Especially when they're Swedish, Bright and white ^_^

I like that these images have the same wooden floor as me.. I still definitely need to buy at least 3 large white rugs! Im a bit scared of getting one for the living room because the ones I live with are messy as flip and spill tea on a regular basis. I do too ^_^ so a white rug could be disasterous. I cant paint the floor because it's a rental property. Poop. 

I would love some white kitchen cabinets! I'm not a giant fan of this kitchen, Ive seen a whole lot nicer that I can post about for you guys ^_^ this wouldnt be my dream kitchen but there is lots of natural light so that's definitely a plus!

I adore this fire place!! There's nothing better in the winter than a crackling roaring fire ^_^

This bureau is an excellent idea! I could do with that in my lil crafty room. I have a giant billy book case and I really wanted to turn it into a unit with a pull out desk but its not exactly stable enough. Ive no room for a proper desk but i could definitely do with one. perhaps a lap tray for the laptop is necessary!

Windows!!! That little foot stool looks too small to be a footstool.... unless its for a child or a cat. I like the glass table top.

Craft Inspiration | Sewing Sock Dolls

I found the most adorable craft craze that I haven't yet got into.. Sock dolls! I have a giant bag in my parents house of mismatched socks lol. Seriously... so many socks. I dont know where they have gone. So.. this is something to do ^_^ as long as they arent too bally or dirty. Maybe I could try and shave the lil bally things off and do some stain removing. Im becomming a little obsessed with kitties... especially toys. Ive no desire or room to keep kitty toys... but I want to make them :p

I think my obsession with kitties (ive always been a crazy cat lady) but recently im obsessed! I think it's because of instagram and following all the cute neko photographers!

Crochet Love | Crochet Sun Bursts

I tweeted about my Crochet progress during the month and taking my sweet time to post other photos! I now have round four on them and a few more squares done ^_^

Created using the pattern in mollie makes issue 2 - by Pip from Meet Me at Mikes. 

Pattern is doubles, puffs, clusters and then in the fourth round i changed it to doubles because i didnt want it to be much bigger! This is going to be a blanket for christmas as it will probably take that long to get it finished! Im attempting a square a day ^_^
