For The Love of Pattern | Fabrics Decor and Stationery

Dreamy, oh so dreamy. I love pattern, I love floral fabrics and I love everything in this post!

I have a picture of this above my bed so I will eventually make a patchwork quilt like this for myself ^_^ I love the head board!

I really would love some floral wallpaper in my home but I am not that brave! I have that cath kidston wash bag but I use it as a pencil case for my drawing supplies ^_^ I got some fabulous Crab Tree and Evelyn soap and Cath Kidston soap for my birthday. I love the smells. Reminds me of my favourite shop ^_^

I am not such a fan of this image but I do like the lamp. Especially the base and that cardigan draped over the stool!

I also have this picture above my bed! These items are from paperchase and harris something for those incredibly beautiful but expensive box files. I really want those notebooks but they werent available through paperchase when i went looking last year!

This image is my absolute favourite!! I love the coat, the cushions and the wicker basket! It is so beautiful. I also love that floral tag... I might make one of those for my suitcase and maybe laminate? How would you make a fabric luggage tag that would never fall apart?!

Are you a fan of pattern? Florals float your boat?

I know how much you lovelies love your bags and stationery. Just like me! Which is why I want to direct you over to clippy kit ^_^ I remember when Clippy Kit were just establishing themselves and my how fabulous they have become!

If you buy and customize a bag yourself you can send pictures into their gallery. What a fab idea!

If you couldn't be bothered going all diy and making your own bag you can get them to do it with their little stickery kits and things.

Such an excellent idea and they have brollies!! Bags, brollies, make up bags, exercise books and stationery, pencil cases and you can buy separate bag linings and inserts also to create your perfect bag!

I love their lunch bags! With a Jammie dodger charm! Id love a jammie dodger right now. Everyone needs a Tardis self destruct button on their handbag. (Yes Im a giant fan ^_^)

You can also use the free downloads to print out and put in your little bag. The size is optimized for 9cm x 11 cm. Sticker kits are also available on the site and little fabric background and ribbon kits! What are you waiting for?! Alons-y! (Thats right.. two different doctors. I went there)

Book Previews | Using Issuu to Preview before Buying | Romantic Style with Selina Lake and Debi Treloar

well.. dont I feel like an idiot? How long have I known about the site issuu? Not only that.. how long have I been using it and only now discovering that certain publishers have uploaded book previews for you to see before you buy?

This is perfect for me because 1. I am poor and 2. Ive spent good money on books and been incredibly disappointed. This means I can have a peak before I buy. There's a book here I wanted before I saw the preview... now I'm not so keen to purchase it. I got the book Romantic Style for my birthday and love it, if any of you were dubious though I would check out the preview ^_^

I adore this book! Of course our favourites and recurring features on this blog Selina Lake and Debi Treloar did a wonderful job with this book! Its so inspiring.

I love this idea with the mirrors!! I could try something like this above my sofa. I would worry it may end up looking ridiculous though.

I think I am the modern romantic but I do love the traditional style ^_^ the book is totally jam packed full of inspiration.

I simply adore this dining room. I think I need to go grab the book and do more of my living room planning ^_^

Coral is one of my favourite colours ^_^ I love that style of chair.

The display here is absolute perfection also. I really want some moroccan tea glasses as props for photos and just general prettiness around my home!

You can buy this book on the book depository with free international shipping! The book preview was through here.

Crafty Link Party Results 2 | Pontinhos Meus | Perfect Crochet

I'm so pleased to be sharing some more results from the link party! This is from the blog Pontinhos meus and made by Marlene Rodrigues. I love the crochet on her site. Such a fabulous talent!

This is Kelly ^_^ in her lovely blue dress! Looking through Marlenes blog I have seen many little Hello Kitty dolls with a variety of little dresses and styles.

I really am incredibly jealous of this immense crochet talent!

Have any of you mastered the art of amigurimi? I haven't even tried to start! I want to but granny squares for a blanket are more important at the moment! I can also only concentrate on one project at a time because if I start more than one at a time there will inevitably be a basket full of started and nowhere near finished crochet projects!

How impressive are these little pucca dolls!? Pucca amigurimi.. Where would I even find the patterns? Perhaps I am aiming slightly high lol. I downloaded the lion brand yarn app for my iPhone and have had the litle piggy amigurimi bookmarked for about a year! I wanted to start last year and I bought yarn but it was when I was learning about crochet and didn't really know the differences between yarns.. Now I know I would need 4 ply so all those pinks I bought are going into my current blanket project!

Marlene also has an amazing collection of crochet coin purses on Pontinhos meus blog and available in her shop! I am seriously in awe of this lovely portugese artisan/crochet goddess ^_^

Dream Interiors and Blog Love | Fargevandring | Colourful Craft Corner

I am a big fan of this blog and I asked the wonderful Anne Lise if I could feature her lovely craft room and it turns out it's the corner of a bedroom! You can be incredibly stylish with a very small space ^_^

I adore the simplicity in this little corner! The colours really make it pop. I have so many things in my possession... I would need to empty out everything I have to use a little corner. Or have a secret narnia where I can store all my supplies!

Such a beautiful way to store fabrics! I am currently doing some 'stash busting' as it is definitely needed. I have more fabric in storage than I know what to do with but then I'm thinking... What the heck am I going to do with the items I make?!

loving the use of paint tins for paper storage! Very vintage and eclectic style. Looks fab with the different colours here.

I love the fabric on this board! Yellow is such a lovely uplifting colour, even without pinning anything to the board it looks like beautiful art work.

What can I say other than I Love this basket?! I've recently gone on an all White crusade but this would be perfect for yarn storage!

the ribbon on the wooden spool makes for gorgeous decoration! I'm also a big fan of novelty erasers ^_^ I'd feel guilty using it though so I'm a bigger fan of novelty pencil sharpeners!

it's hard not to love everything in this little space. It's so bright and cheery ^_^

I love those little drawers! The red and purple is divine! This blog is full of inspiration and loveliness so I recommend a visit!

Lots of love Claire xo
