Dream Interiors | White Feminine Dressing Room

*sigh* How pretty? I hate wire coat hangers but I would love them a lot more if I had beaded ones! I decided to be uniform with my hangers and purchased some wooden ones from ikea. After updating my bedroom this year I wish I had purchased white ^_^ hindsight is a wonderful thing huh?

It looks so airy and floaty. I could definitely imagine myself holding a wonderful chiffon dress up to myself and twirling around in this room.. it's that pretty.

This bedroom must be gigantic! I absolutely adore these wardrobes with lace inbetween them as curtains.. I honestly cannot express how simply lovely it all is! I'm so happy that lace and net things have come back into romantic fashion without looking like your grannys house on a grey day... anyone english or irish will know what Im talking about. Sitting on a chair in the early nineties in a northern facing house (aka darkness) with overwhelming rose patterns, doilies and net curtains with a burning hot tea pot in front of you and some dark horrible carpet... ahhh. Those were the days! I think this is possibly why I am so obsessed with natural light. Like the Scandinavian folk I have suffered greatly from lack of natural sun light which has resulted in me wanting everything made out of white or windows!

coooo... if only!! This is all very Lisbeth Dahl isn't it! How romantic. If I had pretty feminine dresses and places to go I would love a dressing room like this ^_^

Vintage Suitcase | DIY Reupholstered Samsonite Suitcase with Cath Kidston Wallpaper

Ok sooo... from my last vintage suitcase post I decided to reupholster it for the purpose of it being a suitcase and also storing fabric. When it's not a suitcase and it's storing fabric I put my cutting mat, patchwork ruler and cutter thingys in the polka dot pocket.

This is the before and after.. apologies for the not so amazing photograph but I had some trouble carrying the case around. I removed all the lining fabric and the suitcase was absolutely stinking.. awful!

This was the original lining attempt with ikea fabric.. the glue gun didnt work and I ran out of fabric glue so I used some PVA but it soaked right through the fabric and it was still sinky so I had to remove it...

So scraping I did... It had lots of wooly things stuck to glue which appeared to be harbouring the smell.

These are some terrible phone pictures trying to decide about the lining. The pink stripey lining were scented drawer liners and I ended up running out of the liners! That I've had forever. And that was the in progress picture. It was an absolute nightmare and I am never doing it again. That is a promise ^_^

Have you guys taken on any of these bad boys?

A Delightful Caravan in Pinks and Blues | The Cutest Little Trailer from The Fancy Farm Girl

As soon as I saw this post on House of Turquoise Blog I had to share with you! This originally came from Tiffany Kirchner Dixon at the Fancy Farm Girl Blog. Everyone meet Audree...

You can see more information and some before images on the original post linked above ^_^ Tiffany appears to be very in to her cow girls and things which I have to say is not my cup of tea but I do love the pinks and blues as it looks rather shabby chic until you see the 'smack in the face' hot pink sundae cup thingys.

Gorgeous or what! I want a caravan but I would not know where to start with any of the renovations!

Sources for the inside bits are available through Tiffanys blog post and a few more photographs. I love that rug. Im very tempted to buy one from Ikea for my bedroom. I love the feeling of fluffyness under foot!

Interior Stylist and Prop Styling for a Photoshoot Inspiration | Julia Hoersch

Pretty in pinks today, for a little while at least with Julia Hoersch!

This is pretty party inspiration too! How exciting.. pinks and blacks aren't a scheme I would ever have chosen for a party.. not even a total black it's more of a slate grey. The plates are terribly cute though and arranged wonderfully.

I wouldnt have the patience to cut a letter out of a piece of bread ^_^ especially not an M! I love the labels on those bottles.

How fabulous is this for prop styling inspiration for a photo shoot? Im always intrigued by how stylists arrange their work and if they can see the final outcome like the photographer can or how it works! I love that little chalk board so much. And the hand stamped labels on the paper table cloth is a fabulous idea!

Are those actual plates or is that wallpaper? That would be pretty special wallpaper. i would also like to eat that apple and raspberry pastry thingy right now. The range of textures and bright colours are just perfection in this image. Would any of you consider being a food photographer? I couldnt do it. I think I would eat most of the mood before I got the chance to shoot it. A lot of work.. too much for me :p

This is a fab set of photos! I love that little jam pot and jam making accoutrements. I like that the table cloth looks like a jam pot cover ^_^

ooOoo yum.I want those white spoons. Is that tea pot designed to fit a plate or was that a happy accident? Id love a cup of tea right now.

Is flower arranging your bag? I love those butterflies on the wall..I wonder if they are ceramic or just paper. If i was shooting a vase of flowers I would never think of showing what I used in my arranging process or even little jars and things beside the vase. A good thing to remember about mixing sizes, colours and tones.

see! What a beautiful backdrop for these flowers. I would love a glass cloche! I love the Cloche hats as well you can buy in that shape but they dont suit me. *sigh* I would love some wooden panels in that untreated manner and some white ones to add texture to my images.

Two table cloth styles in the one image! Genius.. adds another dimension! Those dishes look rather precariously placed!  I have decided that another reason for me not to be a food photographer is that I am far too clumsy for words to even express. There would be thumb holes in everything.. and maybe a wee finger scoop in that custardy tart.

Flickr Group Fave | Ecclectic Gipsy Land Colourful Crochet

ooooh I love this lady!! This is wonderful Cecile of Eclectic Gipsyland. Her Flickr and blog are absolutely fabulous and so full of vibrant colour.

I just adore this rainbow of colours. If I could find a yarn shop with loads of these colours I would buy every single one. Only I can usually afford a few at a time.

How adorable is this little kitchen set?

oh my goodness! The colours! And the birds!! coooo ^_^ I love those birds against the pattern. It's absolutely fabulous.

And a crochet frame! How beautiful! What a fantastic idea don't you think? How could these images not brighten your day?!

I absolutely love these hand painted enamel cups and tins... They're very expensive so I am going to assume these were a in a little shop in paris or else Cecile spends a fortune on pretty things ^_^

For those of you who love crochet this will probably be one of your favourite images! How much time would it have taken to make a crochet flower with so many layers?! I think I must be the slowest crocheter in the world.

As mentioned recently... I hated wire hangers until I saw them beaded! What a gorgeous idea. I would always have given mine to charity shops and last year when I was suffering with OCD quite intensley I replaced my hangers with all wooden ikea ones for some uniformed wooden pretty ones.

I love all the colours of yarn! it takes so long to ball yarn like this.. Im far too lazy to do it.. and also when I turn them into balls like this I usually waken up to find some interesting installation art around the stairs, bannister, tables.... and the cat.. pointing.. proudly. ^_^

I want to go to this little shop! It looks like a bazaar wonderland!

If you would like to be featured on heart handmade uk please submit photography and projects to the flickr group. This includes all images of your crafts, vintage loveliness and your homes. I especially love a craft room set!

The wall of windows, including an antique leaded glass window, behind the bed is beautiful. Grey linen shades provide privacy at night. Love the mirrored dresser, too.

The book filled shelves wallpaper in this home office is a fantastic design element. Love the chalkboard paint above the desk; perfect for notes. The Black Forest deer head with the bow is so charming.

Absolutely love the pattern of the painted floor in this dining room. If painting the floors isn't an option, I'd look for a large area rug in this pattern. Love the yellow accents against all the black and white. Every element of this interior design is simply stunning.
