The Nicest Christmas Market in Denmark

Well... as soon as I saw this... I want to go and live there! (in the market, not just Denmark ^_^) .

These are so cute! Are they hanging from a mobile? I need to get me a big vase of twigs to start hanging cute things off.

I loved the Owl craze that went down a couple of years back.. they're everywhere and in so many colours! Im a crazy cat lady so Im obviously all about the kitties :p That lady looks zoo happy... non?

Gorgeous Cabochon earrings! I love all the colours

omg omg omg omg! Look at all the yarn and the hoopla tshirt yarn! gimie gimie gimie

See the crochet doily thing that dog is on... What colour is that? Lime green or mustard yellow? I love the colour. I also love the bright turquoise in the image behind the dogs head.

ooo all the pretty colours of yarn!! I want the orange! i can't find that shade of orange anywhere in the UK. Not in my knitting shop or online. Its either neon or peach... id also love a rust coloured yarn if anyone knows any brands.. suggest them my way!

I love the colours of those baskets! It is however reminding me that I need to re-tidy my crafty room. Ive seen online lots of people have little sweet names for their craft room... LIke the shed... for instance. what do you call yours? Ours is still known as the spare room lol cuz of the sofa bed.

The haven ?
The hut?

Its also known as the cats bedroom lol cuz when we first lived here we had a friend who stayed here ALL the time but when he got his own house the cat took over the big double bed.. so its her bedroom first and my craft room second :p She also has her own toilet. Yes. Spoilt.
(We have two toilets and I don't use one of them cuz the toilet seat is cracked and nips.... so she can have it all to her stinky wee self!) :p

iPhone App and Beautiful Graphic Design Inspiration

Fiona Richards at Cartolina has done it again! Another beautiful iPhone app... but this time it combines print!! This made me almost wet myself!!!

These images are from Fionas blog.
You download the free app and the include your photography on Cartolina-designed postcard templates... and then it gets printed as a real card. Im not sure about international postage but I shall find out for sure! I love the website and blog so go and  check out Cartolina Postale and drool over the delicious designs!

UPDATE  - Fiona left an insanely helpful comment below! If you order from the UK and are posting to the UK it will be printed here and if you are from the UK and posting to the US it will be printed there for faster shipping etc. How useful is that?! Thank you Fiona!

Christmas Decor Inspiration | Country Style Christmas Decorations

This is slightly more my style of christmas decor! I can't wait to see what my newly decorated living room looks like with the tree and everything up this year ^_^ Im quite excited.

I love the idea of hanging vintage baubles off the window ^_^ The garlands on the tree are absolutely adorable. How do you guys decorate?

This kitchen is fabulous but I couldn't deal with all the clutter ^_^ I love the christmassy baking images.

Im sure many of you will love this kitchen! I love the storage ^_^

And a lovely decorated office space! I love the thread organiser but it would take up too much space. That little brush is fabulous also. I need to get myself some white pales for storage as i currently use those cheap ikea plant holder things, I think they were 39p in a frosted plastic style. Do i decorate my wee craft room for christmas?! Over christmas it is used primarily for storage of gifts and every day decor that gets replaced with the christmas stuff.

Its christmas all over! The table setting is beautiful here. I have a mixture of colours in my house so Ive been trying to find some lovely dining room inspiration so i can decorate the dining room for every day christmas eating.. and then a bit glitzier for our 'family' christmas dinner (as we go home to our own proper families and mums and dads for christmas day).

Im definitely decorating the bathroom :p

This beautiful house belongs to Mandy and Phil Shaw in East sussex. A gorgeous country homely home in a beautifully restored edwardian house!

Christmas DIY Projects and Inspiration!

Well all month I have been going crazy for DIY tutorials for christmas time... everything I mean! Garlands, decor, presents... gift wrap toppers. You name it I've been searching! So I have collated my lovely collection...

i looooove this wee felt ball tree!! The rug is divine but the felt ball tree I think is rather self explanatory.
I couldn't find a tutorial for the tree, I think it was just a picture on the blog (i did go searching!) If anyone finds the original post link from Down To The Woods blog please let me know so I can amend the post. Pinterest Pin.
Twisted felt garland is from The Purl Bee

The glitter labels are something I will definitely be making! The tutorial is from Ambrosia Creative.
Wee Scrabble ornament is just adorable! From My Sweet Savanagh
The cupcake ornament is awesome! I've ordered up some polystyrene balls and I got some white glitter.. I can't wait to make them! From one of the best DIY craft sites around actually.. Factory Direct Crafts.

Little Christmas Jars - i love them!! I want some of those little trees in vintage style. Where could I get them? Or what would I look for? The tutorial is from a fab tutorial site with some gorgeous holiday tutorials - The Tortoise and the Hare

Glittery Luminaries! Fabulous! I have lots of large jars - not so many small jars. Im going to have to find some people with babies lol.."um.. can i have your jars please?! K thaaaanks!"
With epsom salts! Because its christmas time though I def now have enough glitter to cover my entire house.Which I have done ^_^ I made my toe nails all glittery and discovered it has a blast radius of 15 feet. I quickly remembered why I stopped crafting with glitter!

Wine glass charms - such a smart idea. Need to get stickers for pint glasses :p Centsational Girls blog is def worth a look around too ladies if you have time to spare!

BHG created these gorgeous candle covers from scrapbooking paper and gift wrap paper. Looks fab!
This is woman is a Marvel! Ana White created full instructions on how to make this portable gift wrap station thing. Her site is full of everything any proud home maker would be happy to make and do!
Red paper snowflakes - all different 5 pointed snowflake tutorials from how about orange!

Pinecone garland from the paper mama. She has the cutest blog header in the world!

Snowflake tutorial from clay and some cookie cutters! Genius!

Christmas Craft and Wrapping | An Organized Basket of Wrapping Supplies

My fabulously organised box of wrapping supplies doesn't include the gift wrap! I still have some red and white gift wrap from ikea from last year so Im going to use that and brown paper if I need more ^_^

Isn't the butterfly beautiful? I love it ^_^ Im pretty sure Im all set up with my ribbons, tags and string.. its just how I will wrap them with the red and white wrapping paper - possibly using lots of doilies etc to make there be more white and a balance? Perhaps I would need to concentrate on more Kraft elements for those gifts.

Of course; my Cath Kidston washi tape will be used! Frugally of course. I made that little Christmas Pudding felt ornament last year. I may put it on my own tree as my family have all got their own specific colours. These aren't everything in my gift wrap collection, I haven't brought up my christmas craft box yet to hoke around for my class supplies!

My fabulous box ^_^ The silver lidded jars are jars of buttons. Those solid ribbons are from ikea. I may need some more white. Im getting quite excited. Those toadstools on wires are a bundle by Gisella Graham if anyone is interested!

Christmas Shopping | The H&M Christmas Home Range

It is so sparkly and pretty ^_^ H and M home have outdone themselves this year will all the sparkles I think! If only my living room were decorated like this.

I am quite certain that I want to get one of the fur rugs from ikea to drape over a dining room chair. I have a sneaking suspicion that if i do that though the cat will never be off it ^_^. I love that cushion but I already have 3 sequin cushions which are actually quite painful. Those candle tumblers have a beautiful pattern! I think adding lace to my decor would really help.

Does it look very cold? Ive just been concentrating on the photos below for a little while and coming up to this white and silver theme has made me think its cold. Maybe if the tree wasn't white.. and it was green. Might make it a little warmer.

ooOo elegant! I love the placemats.. i use silver chargers but I think the glitter adds a new element with the texture.

oo christmas sacks! Do you use these? Probably for children.. again.. the cat would never get out of them!

These are the colours of my christmas living room and crazy coloured christmas! OoOOO! I could add pinks in the kitchen! (referring to the post about Tara Anderson gift wrap and Silly Old Suitcase pink wreath) I want the second tea towel.

And my dining room is silver! Of course! Those napkin rings are gorgeous but I do have some rather fancy napkin rings that are like little clusters of clear and silver beads.

The natural element added in with this nordic themed room makes it look so cozy and warm. Mine will be very stark this year I think from the white. Im hoping to get a new christmas tree too as the one we had the past two years is actually older than I am and the branches are a little stark. With all the new trees available Im going for a very tall tree and also slim so it doesn't get caught up in the curtains. I would love a little wooden plinth with wheels for under the tree so I could move it away from the window easily. I may need to raid the DIY store when I buy the tree.

I love that silver heart ^_^ I have a similar decoration that hangs off our window all year around.  Currently (on the old tree) Our tree skirt is a lot of white felt that I accidentally cut to much when making the hole for the skirt but I don't think I would want another one like above. As beautiful as it is Im thinking it will be covered by presents and random boxes of cookies and things ^_^ I always buy a box of the Ikea swedish cinnamon thins in a  christmas tin. They are delicious in coffee.

ooh look at that fire! Cushions are one thing I definitely do need to organise for this christmas! I know I have one red reindeer cushion but I would need to swap out the black and white that I currently have on it. I have two cream; one semi fluffy, more stringy and one crochet cushion. I think I would like to add on that stripy cushion. The red looks beautiful and rich.

You guys been buying any decorations yet? Ive a few presents ready for people but not wrapped. AND I finally decided about my gift wrapping... Im going to make a box with a removable lid.. with the most gorgeous toppings and beautiful details, and inside I shall store my christmas labels, ribbons and bows to be used every year. voila! Done and done ^_^
