Art Journal Inspiration | Journalling Prompts from Kiki K Stationery

As a few of you may have noted, on the blog recently I have been trying to come up with ideas for notebook uses... whilst bumbling around blog land one day I discovered that Kiki K have offered up some Journalling prompts for the new year which I thought was a fabulous idea and inspired me to get my butt in gear and deconstruct a notebook to create an art journal for 2012.

This is so cute! Anywho...there is a section I noticed on the Kiki K blog called Journalling Prompts which interested me immediately and I discovered a few lovely posts. I went to the last page to start from the beginning essentially. P.S you could totally use a separate notebook to store journalling prompts. Must write that one down ^_^ 

I love that pen! And the little doodles! Im going to provide the first journalling prompt that Kiki K offered up on the blog and then I will let you go and read the posts for yourself if you are interested so you can keep the section bookmarked or added to your reader. Im not sure if you can get specific topics/categories on a reader? I would only want an RSS really of the journal prompts section. 

"Journaling Prompt #1:

Write down all your dreams and hopes for the year ahead. These can be as detailed or as simple as you like. For example; Own My Own Home, Become a Leader, or simply Keep a Journal! Nothing is too small or too big. Let yourself be inspired and put that pen to paper."

Kiki K were creating their art journal by just using one of those big 365 diaries.. which I would have loved! BUT... I have too many notebooks. I need to control myself and use some up. Which I am doing.. slowly but surely. It's a considered process and I am trying my best not to get too excited by using lots of notebooks at one time. Rather I am using one notebook for a couple of uses and dividing it so that I don't have to carry around different notebooks.
